The College of Education and Therapy Kazimiera Milanowska (before The College of Education and Therapy) was founded on 4th February 2005 on the basis of the decision of Ministry of Education and Sport and is officially registered under number 167 on the list of private colleges and the association of private colleges
The College of Education and Therapy Kazimiera Milanowska was created on the basis of Wielkopolska Medical School using its long-lasting tradition and experience in educating physiotherapy, massage, pharmacy and dental technicians as well as occupational therapists. Devoted and enthusiastic teaching staff, among them the best lecturers and practitioners, are crucial for the dynamic development of the College and helped the school achieve numerous educational successes. The College offers its students friendly atmosphere making studies more enjoyable, satisfying and unforgettable experience.
From the very beginning College of Education and Therapy Kazimiera Milanowska has consequently cherished students' favourable opinions as well as positive recognition among employers. We want to be perceived as a specialist college and our ambition is to have a place among the world-class leading vocational medical colleges.

What makes us unique
The College of Education and Therapy Kazimiera Milanowska is different from other colleges due to the methodology and teaching system. Educational activity of the College is quality-driven so as to meet the students' needs and the requirements of the contemporary international labour market.
The College achieves its objectives through:
• focus on general and professional knowledge in line with official educational standards being the basis of specialist knowledge. It is possible thanks to experienced teaching staff, scientific conferences, open lectures and courses with international instructors
• creating educational programmes that correspond to the needs of contemporary labour market, based on teaching practical skills using the most modern equipment. Implementation of these programmes is carried out a highly qualified staff among them professional practitioners from rehabilitation, prosthetic and sport centres. The students do their vocational training in the best possible centres as the authorities of the College have high expectations related to the staff and equipment of the public and private centres which they sign training contracts with.
• stimulating students social sensitivity as well as the ability to create positive relations with the people from the nearest environment. It is done by the voluntary work in social care centres, care homes and humanitarian actions organized by Student government
• creating European space of professional development for students which is done by students exchange within Erasmus Lifelong Learning Programme. In 2008 the college became a member of the European Network of Physiotherapy in Higher Education. The aim of ENPHE is to enable the co-operation, exchange of experience and prompt new ideas related to physiotherapy in higher education. All ENPHE initiatives are directed at making education and practice in physiotherapy more and more European
• conducting scientific research which is the prerequisite for the effective didactic process as well as students and staff development. It is carried out by publications, conferences, development of research centres, participation in various contests and Olympics.
