The State Higher Vocational School in Gniezno was established on 1 July

004

on the basis of the resolution of the Council of Ministers of

June2004 (Journal of Laws No. 150, item 157).

About the school Engineering studies have been held in Gniezno for 15 years. Between the years 1994 and 2003 engineering studies were conducted by Poznań University of Technology and since

004 the studies have been run by the State Higher Vocational

School in Gniezno. The idea to establish an autonomous technical institution of higher education in Gniezno was proposed by, among other units, local town authorities and Poznań University of Technlogy.

The school's vocational type of education enables students, through elective at tachments they can take in a variety of enterprises and institutions, to gain professional experience which is an invaluable asset in the job market today.

The State Higher Vocational School in Gniezno commits itself to building favourable conditions for providing education at a high European level. This is confirmed by the Erasmus Charter which the school has and which opens up a lot of international opportunities.

The teaching process in the State Higher Vocational School in Gniezno meets all the requirements defined by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education and the State Accreditation Commission
